Jody Marler grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and has been in the trades since a summer job at sixteen. The diversity of architecture in and around Chicago introduced him to a wide range of styles that included contemporary high rises, lake house cottages, historic Victorians, and Arts and Crafts homes.
Along the way, he has enjoyed the challenges involved with every aspect of each unique project and the opportunities these different architectural elements posed. With nearly 30 years of experience in all areas of carpentry – framing, trim and cabinet making, he has developed a keen eye for details and the ability to deliver a truly custom home.
